Double-deck 151

//Double-deck 151//

For everyone who knew me from school would know that I have a love-hate relationship with the bus, 151, I took everyday back when I was in hwa chong for 6 years.

Love it cause it's fast (the actual bus ride itself is around 30 mins, which is very fast considering I live in hougang), and generally empty most of the time. There was even once on a Sunday morning (when I was going to teach tuition) where I had the entire bus to myself.

Hate it cause the frequency is low (somtimes almost 2-3 buses of all the other bus numbers came and not a single 151 is in sight), it's lau pok (I think about 50% of the 151 buses are non air-con, there was once where I took non air-con buses back home every single day for almost 1 full month) and the drivers generally suck, cause when there's long queue for the buses at the bus stop, the drivers would automatically assume there's no one taking 151 and zooom off. I even wrote an entry about it b4 (Jan 2007...scroll down to the entry on "Flag the bus early campaign)

Yesterday, I had to go back to school to settle some scholarship application stuff, and naturally I took 151. When this double deck bus approached, I naturally assumed it's not 151 since there's no double deck 151. But surprise surprise, it's 151!! *gasp*

NEW PRODUCT!

I got so excited sitting in this air-con, double deck 151 that I smsed lots of people to express my joy. It's almost like seeing your kids grow up into amazing human beings. HAHA!
